there is so much that you can do with kettle bells, but first lets talk about the history of them and what they are.
first a short history lesson... i hope. kettle bells started in Russia, originally there were developed so that goods could be weighed. eventually people found that they could be used a tool to develop fitness. A modern kettle bell has a handle and then a weighted section. they also come in various sizes and weights. Since the Russians are such an industrious little country, the way that you work out is very efficient. when i say efficient, i am saying that you use multiple muscle groups when you are working out. look at the basic swing, you hold the kettle bell in front of you and swing it up to shoulder level when you do a squat. That one movement makes you work your shoulders and legs. It probably works more then that, but i dont know any more then that .
I really like using kettle bells because you work several muscle groups at once.
